By accessing or using AdmitMatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
AdmitMatch provides college planning tools and counseling services to help families navigate the admissions process. These terms govern your use of our website, tools, and services.
Services and Pricing
Free Tools
Our College List Generator and other free tools are available to all users at no cost. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free features at any time.
Paid Services
- •Expert Review + Video ($79 one-time): Detailed written review and personalized video feedback on your college list
- •Counselor on Demand ($49): Monthly subscription.
All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with notice to existing subscribers. Existing subscribers will receive notice before any price changes take effect.
Payment and Billing
- •Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
- •Subscriptions: Counselor on Demand subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
- •Refunds: Expert Review purchases are non-refundable once delivered. Counselor on Demand subscriptions are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time—no refunds for partial months.
Service Delivery and Expectations
Expert Review + Video
We aim for delivery within 48 business hours of purchase. During peak seasons (November-December), delivery may take up to 5 business days. You'll receive an email when your review is ready.
Counselor on Demand
Our counselors provide responses within 24 business hours during business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Complex questions may take longer. This is not emergency support—for urgent deadline questions, please indicate urgency in your message.
Service Limitations
AdmitMatch provides guidance and recommendations, not guarantees. We cannot guarantee admission to any college, scholarship awards, or specific outcomes. College admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions themselves.
Your Responsibilities
- •Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current information about your academic profile and college preferences
- •Account Security: You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- •Appropriate Use: You agree not to misuse our services, attempt to access other users' accounts, or interfere with our systems
- •Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use AdmitMatch. Users under 18 should use our service with parental guidance
Intellectual Property
All content on AdmitMatch—including our algorithms, counselor guidance, written materials, and design—is owned by AdmitMatch and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may use our services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.
Disclaimers and Limitations
No Admission Guarantees: AdmitMatch provides guidance based on historical data and counselor expertise, but we cannot guarantee admission to any college or university.
Data Accuracy: We strive to provide accurate information about colleges, but admissions criteria and policies change frequently. Always verify information with the colleges directly.
Service Availability: We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We're not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.
Account Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. If you have an active Counselor on Demand subscription, it will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our services. There will be no refunds for terminated accounts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Your continued use of AdmitMatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
