Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. If you subscribe to Counselor on Demand ($49/month), we also collect your name and payment information (processed securely through Stripe—we never store your full credit card details).
Student Profile Information
To generate personalized college lists and provide counseling, we collect academic information (GPA, test scores, coursework), extracurricular activities, intended major, and other college search criteria. You control what you share—you can use our tools with minimal information or provide more details for better recommendations.
Communications
If you use Counselor on Demand, we store your questions and our counselors' responses so you can reference them later. If you contact us via email or our contact form, we keep those communications to provide support.
Usage Data
We collect basic analytics about how you use AdmitMatch (pages visited, features used, time spent) to improve our service. This data is aggregated and anonymized.
How We Use Your Information

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- •Our counselors: If you use Counselor on Demand, our vetted counselors see your profile and questions to provide personalized guidance
- •Service providers: We use trusted third parties like Stripe (payments), Supabase (data hosting), and analytics tools—all bound by strict confidentiality agreements
- •Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights
How We Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure—we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Cookies and Tracking

Children's Privacy
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
